Fees are set with reference to the Alberta College of Social Workers guidelines and comparative context (similar work) of the College of Alberta Psychologists. This fee encompasses services rendered within and outside of session time such as documentation, scheduling and billing, insurance payment resolution, as well as usual business costs, such as office administrative and supply costs and also includes mandatory professional licensing and professional development fees.

I can offer you a package of sessions that are within your benefit limits. This enables you to receive both high value service and reasonable rates. The standard fee is $170.00 /clinic hour. We will discuss this prior to our first session or during the first session.

I prefer you contact your insurance company before the first session to confirm the limits of your coverage. It’s best if you also ask your insurance company to email you their “assignment of benefits” form if you want me to direct bill your insurance company. This form, signed by you, means that I can be paid directly from the insurance company. Direct billing and payment is available in many cases; this does vary by insurance company. 

I can also process credit card payments or accept e-transfers if you need to pay on your own.
